Devonshire Accountants opened its doors in 2009 in Brisbane. However, our roots in accounting, taxation, and book keeping go back to 1973 when we first started operations in Kenya. We hold practising certificates from the following bodies and we hold the relevant indemnity insurances:

• Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ)
• Certified Practising Accountants (CPA Australia)
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - UK)

• The year 2014 saw us moving to a fully cloud environment with hosted servers, making us work from any location in the world.
• In 2022, we made our biggest office move to Brisbane CBD

Raj is a qualified Australian Chartered Accountant and CPA, with 30 years experience in 3 countries, Kenya, United Kingdom and Australia.

Raj was born in Kenya and then migrated to United Kingdom, where he qualified as an Accountant. He moved to Brisbane, Australia in 2005 and has extensive experience in providing accounting and tax advice to clients. He provides specialist advice to professional service firms and small businesses with tax planning, tax structuring and income tax issues.

Raj's technical skills cover tax planning, choosing business structures, consulting, business valuations, business planning, SMSF accounting and auditing, cash flow management and credit control. He ensures that he always have personal interactions with his clients so that he can personally guide them through a smooth and successful business growth.

Raj loves to spend time with his family - he has 3 children and 3 grand children. When he is not with his family you can find Raj on the Golf Course trying to improve his Handicap or taking his Cavoodle for a walk.
